I couldn't agree more, Mary - I truly think that some on the Board believe we are representatives without a population of sailors behind them. E-mails, letters and phone calls make that misconception evaporate.

I am simply asking that all of you who have called and written to me specifically NOT follow through with your pledge to quit US SAILING outright and immediately. It is clear that this gut reaction is not isolated and is building steam, so I wanted to make the case for initial calm.
