My boat goes into the shop on Monday. The quote for both the repair and a professional paint job was good enough to tempt me.

While it's away I thought I'd do the rudders and boards myself ( to learn) and make some changes to the rigging in general.

My plan is to strip the paint off, fill any dings with epoxy filler, line the front and trailing edges with epoxy, sand smooth, and a 2 pack paint. Is this the way to go?

I want to do my centreboards the same as you have them. What did you use to line/support the hole that the rope goes through?
