Well I know a bunch of you Florida boys and girls are probably feeling beat this evening after getting back from Spring Fever, but its time for roll call for Lake Ponchartrain this coming weekend.

Its going to be a rare chance for you U.S. F18/I20 sailors to put it up against the finest from the nation of Texas.

So who's in and who's running scared? John Williams, Kirk?

Chris.

Folks,

Here is how we will sweeten the competition for all of the doublehanded spinnaker and non-spinnaker boats at this event. First, three boats still makes a class and you will get scored as a class if you get three boats. This includes the open class. Second, we are going to create a "bonus" class for all of the doublehanded teams. We think there will be a total of 4-5 I-20's, 2 18HT's, a Hobie 20, and 6-8 F-18's. We are going to start you all together, record the elapsed times and then score you all against each other with your Portsmouth numbers. Hope that makes the trip and the event that much more worthwhile for you. Remember, we are serving dinner on Friday and Saturday nights so try to make it Friday afternoon to hang out with us.

If any singlehanded spinnaker boats show up (F-16/I-17R), we'll include you in this group also.
