That would only allow you to pull it on, and anyway there is another cleat on the other side...
Well that was my thought. I'm probably missing the point (Oh where is "the master of the obvious"?). When tacking especially after a spinnaker run I seem to have more to do than I have time or energy. If I can manage to stay out of the water then I give my self a little congratulations. That is until I look over and see the anti rotator is free and I'm trapped out or about to. I don't know if I would need the cheek block to allow me to engage the anti rotator from the high side or weather yanking on line (red) that is running under the tramp would be enough to engage the 'V' cleat. The system that I'm envisioning would replace the 'V' cleat with a swivel cleat, probably cam cleat, so that I could adjust the mast rotation from the wire.
