Thanks so much for the links! Heres what I've found so far...my broken pole is 40mm OD 1.8mm wall and 34.8mm ID.
I found a piece thats 38.1mm OD 1.65mm wall and 34.8mm ID, my concern is that the wall is too thin. Will .15mm make a huge strength difference? Price is $59.40 plus $25 shipping as I only need 9'.
You already broke one with the thicker wall...so the engineer in me says that the thinner one will not hold up any better. But for reference all the Nacra poles (N20, F18, etc) are .0625in wall (1.65mm)
