I think I read about that cat in "Multihulls", designed as a commuter for an island operation? It's always sad to see such breakage! Will it be rebuildt?

I came across this C-cat picture again today, of the british C-class Invictus:


Did they really sail with wooden rudders? Anybody who knows more about those rudders? Hollow construction perhaps, and how would you go about doing that with internal shear webs etc.?
