I don't want to talk smack on the Amish, but as Mbounds said these tramps are sewn not RF Welded, and will last about 1/4 the time that a Hobie tramp will. Also the material is different. If you look closely at one of these after-market tramps the material is woven, whereas the Hobie material is all one piece- like it's been coated. The after-market tramps are priced right though.

Your blue vinyl Hobie tramp is probably from the 80's? That' a pretty good lifespan I'd say. Stick with the factory one.
