250# is a stretch on those "mini 14's". I've heard that they do best with less than 120# - it's definitely a kid's boat (that's what they were introduced as).

Anybody can make a sail for it. Talk to Chip at Whirlwind & he can give you a ballpark of what a new sail would cost.

Hobie Cat does not make parts for it. If you break a corner casting, you're done.

They show up on eBay every now and then - that's your best source for parts.
