How can one board gybe less then the other depending on whether it is on windward or leeward side ?

How does the board know on which side it is ?

I think the Capricorn boards are very high aspect. I seem to recall they are 220 mm by 1100 mm which gives it an aspect ratio of 5. Tiger boards are just below 4 if I remember correctly.
