That was one of the first things I thought of when I was coming up with my kickup T foil idea see
http://www.catsailor.com/forums/showflat...true#Post107486I rejected it early on as for me one of the main points of a kick up system is for when you hit something unexpectedly. I thought that having to undo a bolt before the foil can kick up was not a good idea.
