A yardstick is set as an average of all the mossies competing...in our case as with all the classes the Vics look after them and nationally we all use the VYC (Yachting Victoria)yardstick
If it is club racing...surely your club has a club handicap system that uses the yardstick as a starting point and then adjusts a correction factor based on the boat's performance
Lets NOT get carried away into splitting handicaps...really a light boat (55kg)with a 100kg skipper and a heavy boat (65kg) and an 75 kg skipper....well you do the maths as to all up weight.
