I wouldn't trust them with raising the mast either.... I would have thought it would be for the anchor too, but why woould there be 2 of them?


Doesn't seem to have anything to do with raising or lowering the mast. The F-27 is designed really nice for that without needing extras.

On anchoring - the boats tend to wander around a bit at anchor. On way to take care of the problem is to offset the anchor line to one side or the other. Folks seem to rig some sort of bridle to accomplish this, although I'm not sure I've heard of any descriptions that exactly match these. There would be two so that you could offset the anchor to either side.
