I added a Nacra 6.0NA foil to my P-19mx. It works great and has greatly reduced the toe-in forces loading on the boat. I tried wire at first for the bow-foil pigtail rigging,( 9" long from eye to eye) but they kept breaking quickly and cost big $$$$ for marine eye fittings. So I'm using 1/8 amsteel instead wrapped around several times tied-off and whipped, alot cheaper and it has lasted 2 years. I'll change them this year. I'm thinking of pulling the battens out of the mx jib and installing a furler this year since the jib makes flying the 25sqmeter spinnacker difficult. I would just lose my jib luff adjustment ability, but do I really need that adjustment if I'm only using the jib in direction???
