If Prindle 16 is a good design in your eyes but a tad underpowered then the Prindle 18 is your ticket.

I actually prefer this boat over the Hobie 18 is simplicity is a consideration. The Prindle 18 is exactly like the Prindle 16 boat just entlarged a bit in length, mast height, sailarea and speed. It is still a boardless design.
