I'm surprised there is no bow sprit, at least not from what I can see in some of the pictures. Still, it looks fast and stable.
OK, what's it cost?? <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" />
Those two ama's remind me of the Inter 20 hulls, I was thinking about buying an older I20, building a center hull and beams, then using all the sails, mast, etc. from the I-20 on the "new" trimaran, and if possible, leave as much of the I-20 stuff un-altered, so you could take it apart to use it as a cat again if you wanted, or as a tri when you wanted to take the whole family out.
Remember that old Dick Newick designed tri, which used the Hobie 16 hulls as amas, but use Inter 20 hulls instead. I think it could be done for the price of the used I-20 ($8,000) plus what you are willing to spend on the center hull build, and the beams to hold it all together.
