A new Yahoo groups page for US owners of Corsair Sprint 750 trimarans has been setup at:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/USSprint750Class/The purpose of this group site is encourage new/prospective owners and interested sailors to join, let us know who and where you are, and then share information about the boat and the class. The first US national championship for the class will take place this August as part of the 2008 Corsair National Championship to be raced on Buzzards Bay. Corsair has built around 80 Sprint 750's since the class was introduced in late 2005. The factory in Vietnam is currently sold out and many new boats are shipping to Australia.
There are already pictures and files posted on this group site and since Friday, 11 members have joined. We are trying to get the word out via various forums to locate our owners and open a line of communication through this group. We are really hoping we can start making the class visible at various NOOD events across the country as well participating in more regional sailing events to show the general sailing public what a fun and exciting boat the Sprint 750 is. There's a reason SAILING WORLD named the boat its 2007 Sportboat of the Year.
Sail fun, sail fast!
