Its interesting. He's got a lot of good ideas, and is a really good sailor, but he's got a lot of monohull-esque things to reconsider. Sometimes he thinks he has a better idea of how to do things that we, as a multihull community, have had figured out for ages...

...but thats a good thing too. Its made me stop and think about some things such as light air sail trim, in different ways. Outside the box, if you will.

What is really cool though, is that I've got him hooked on the cats. We were blasting down Lake Lanier on Saturday just driving through some huge motorboat wake on a downwind reach, and he goes "damn, this boat is just a ....machine"

Bottom line is, I still have a lot more to learn from him than he has to learn from me IMO. I'm also grateful that I found someone that has the fortitude to put up with my personality defects to sail with me:)
