Olli and Kelly splashed their Capricorn one full day before I did... in fact, I sailed with Robbie on Olli's Cap that weekend as we did some tuning against the Tiger that the Jason's had been sailing for some time. Then we switched boats.

Brandon Wallace is sailing with Damon LaCassella - Damon got an Infusion recently and the two of them have been going very fast in SoCal and they lead the NAF-18 class in points so far this year.

Alex and Nigel have been a very close second place at multiple Alter Cups... you have to like their chances as they return again on an F18.

I think some folks are going to be surprised by how fast Mike and Dave (Team Zhik) are going this year. They really put together a program and have been training hard - they're even coming in late just to get one more regatta in before the Championship.

Figueroa/Pinto got to play with a Cap at Spring Fever last month - there was a marked difference between their boatspeed on the first and last day of the event.

Kirk and Glenn - last minute entries but far from unfamiliar with the pressure of Alter Cup competition. Kirk's name is already on the trophy - I think he's in the mood to "re-establish the pecking order."

John and Giselle have been sailing F18 for a looooooong time. John led the Tiger fleet in points last year to earn his chance to represent the class.

Put two A-cat skippers on the boat, especially father and son, and you have to ask who's calling the shots. Marshack/Marshack or Marshack/Marshack - they'll be going fast.

I could keep going... <img src="http://www.catsailor.com/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

After watching Lionel Messi play, I realize I need to sail harder.
