My new Catsailor arrived by snail mail today. I was astonished to see 3 photos of a "NACRA 20" with a towline attached directly to the middle of the front crossbar, and a long story about attempting to rescue it that way. I learned 30 years ago not to do it like that: Of course it will be pulled sideways without the towline over the top hull. Apparently the skipper was incapacitated at the time and the crew was new. No knowledgeable/capable help around, eh? Kind of ugly, but nobody was injured, so....
