Using bungee on the tramp lace up is about the worst thing you can do!
Being bounced around while tacking/gybing in rough weather is bad enough...adding bungee loading to the mix is just dumb.
I recently saw someone on another forum (thebeachcats) ask about using bungee and i said i had never heard of anyone doing this.
Someone pointed out it was suggested in Murray’s catalogue. i was surprised.
I stated on my TheMightyHobie18 tramp lacing tension had alot to do with the rigidity of my boat and i thought it was a crazy idea.... interesting to hear you love it
