I've found that by being the only guy in the yoga sessions, I would get plenty of attention from the instructor. Perhaps because I couldn't even come close to the flexibility of many of the women in the class. The instructor often seemed to be at my side trying to coax me into a posture that I'd deemed impossible.

I remember when I first considered yoga. As someone looking in from the outside, it looked so peaceful and relaxing. Once in the classes, I discovered what an intense workout it can be. It was tough at first, but made a big difference, both physically and mentally.
