Given that, it is pretty cool the the 16s have such a dedicated class that are willing to travel and maybe if other classes would do that this survey would be more accurate.
Todd, your definition of "more accurate" does not apply, this is how the author conducted the survey. Unless you think the numbers posted are erroneous, I'd say it's accurate for the intent of the author.
That's not to say that I'm not surprised by some of the standings (I really thought the Opti and Sunfish would be way higher).
Never underestimate the power of the Hobie 16. There are more of those boats sailing at weekend regattas than most of the other boats on the list, so if you start changing the criteria, it might actually move up on the list.
