Today (thursday) sailing saw 13-18 knots of fickle and very shifty winds, and to complicate it for all there were patches with no breeze and others where crews had sole rights to it.
That said, it was fun with places being swapped regularly and enough to see 3 Mk1's go for a swim, 2 odf them goig turtle and requiring "outside assistace"
There were a wide range of stories on the beach of good and bad, of exhilarating ride (double trapping on reaches) and of others sitting in "holes" watching the fleet sail around them.....today was closest I have seen the sea conditions resemble those of our inland waters....interesting.
This afternoon saw all sailing abondoned with a front blowing thro at 25+ knots, so all now comes done to tomorrow morning race/s.
I will update todays results when i have them.
