We wanted to have Tony make a new spinnacker for Triple Threat ... but Tony has a "Do Not Compete" agreement w/ Quantum for sailmaking for larger boats. And it would be very obvious that the spinnacker is not for a beach cat ... so we could not get Tony to make one for us. I believe Doyle is making the new spinnacker for us. I would really, really, really, really wished Tony could have made it for us. I know Tony would have made an excellent spinnacker ... and I would have liked Tony to have made the $$$$'s for his pocket and not someone elses.

I wanted to go see the Quantum loft manager and explain the "realities" from our side ... we maybe on a large Tri but we are a bunch beach catters .... and we know Tony and his work .... Do you want the order??? Yes or No ... If you do then Tony designs and constructs the spinnacker ... If that doesn't work for Quantum then the order goes to Doyle. But we thought that may put Tony in trouble w/ Quantum ... so the order went to Doyle who was very happy to take the order.
