I did my H-16 last fall and it was easier than I had anticipated. Never had to use too much force during either the removal or installation. In fact, once I pried a little to get it started off, I did the rest by hand except for having to trim 1/8 inch or so with a fine tooth hack saw. I did take the time to clean it well before installation, and IIRC I used a little liquid dishwashing soap for lubrication prior to installing.
