I own that trailer now...

Our max towing width in Oz is 2.5 meters, the Capricorn is 2.6 meters which is about 4 inches over the limit.

the downside with the tilt trailer is getting the boat on and off. the boat is very high in the air, particularly with a heavy boat like the f18.

for my purpose the trailer is only used once or twice a year on the road, and for the rest is sits in the clubhouse with the mast up.

i converted it over to rollers/pads and now I can get the boat off by myself and have it it rigged up before the crew arrives.

If you don't have to tilt, don't do it as its a complete pain in the rectum!
