Its not alum, its just plain steel. It wasn't galvanized so it rusted frown recently repainted it with blue kill rust.

I did keep the tilting system and it takes all of 12 bolts to convert back to the tilt system.

best of both worlds!

for cool factor the tilt is unbeatable imo.
