but they're not exactly "foam filled". The outer walls of the hulls are comprised of a layer of fiberglass, a layer of foam, and an inner layer of fiberglass. The sandwich is roughly 3/8" thick. The inside of the hull, technically speaking, is completely hollow...there is some secondary flotation in the hulls in the form of Styrofoam blocks.
