I heard from a fairly reliable source an estimate of 1000 to 1300 new beach cats per year worldwide from all manufacturers in the 2000 timeframe.

We know that there were single dealers in the late 70's that did close to half that number.

Maybe 100,000 servicable beachcats worldwide???? A much smaller number actively sailed.
