Smiths_Cat addict Joined: Sep 2007 Posts: 571 Hamburg	I never ever washed a sail with sweet water. It wasn't a problem on the dacron sails of my Dart18 and so far it isn't on the pentex/mylar sail on my Javelin. However I am sailing in the baltic sea - low salinity. Cheers, Klaus
