2:1 at the tack and the line from this comes back along the 'sprit, terminates in a Harken mini ball bearing block which is part of a 2:1 arrangement with a clamcleat. This makes adjustment really easy for the crew in all conditions.

Does this mean you can move the jib up and down the forestay (to an extent) as both the tack and head are on a 2:1?

I just tied off the tack clew to the hoop that the Spi pole goes theu and put a 2:1 on the Halyard. I'd consider puting some sort of hook up top as you want to strech the sail and not the halyard (as per the T's) - Thanks to Phill for reminding me about this.

Not planning to sail much like this, might do the Piers with 3 sails if it looks like all day (but the handicap drops to 0.913!!!! - T is 0.935!!!!)
