I don't see where a 20' cat should be a heck of a lot more expensive to build than a F18. The big difference being 2 more feet of fiberglass hulls in a mold, a foot or two longer mast, same beams, rudders, boards, sails are little bigger.

Why should a Nacra or Hobie "F20" cost more than $1,000 (or so) more than a Nacra Infusion or Tiger? Assuming non-carbon masts and hulls.

Matt builds cats, Matt, can you go into detail on how much more it should cost to "scale up" from a 18 to a 20 footer? Thanks.
