I don't see how 20 feet of 3/16 line can be enough as it's stated below... I've got 30' and I think I'm about 2 feet short.... the line has to gofirst to the becket then down to the block riveted to the mast, then back up to the block attached to the wire line and then back down once you've attached the jib to roll up on the cleat on the mast... somebody help a fella out...

You only use the purchase for the last couple of feet of the halyard hoist.
Tie the halyard to the becket, then loop it through the becket block. When you raise the jib, pull the block down until you can reach it, pull the loop out from the block, hook it under the block on the mast, tighten and cleat off.
