I don't see how 20 feet of 3/16 line can be enough as it's stated below... I've got 30' and I think I'm about 2 feet short.... the line has to gofirst to the becket then down to the block riveted to the mast, then back up to the block attached to the wire line and then back down once you've attached the jib to roll up on the cleat on the mast... somebody help a fella out...

Maybe you're thinking of the Aussie halyard system. It uses a lot of line as the blocks are at the head of the jib and the tang on the mast..
