Unfortunately the new law is that any boat 16' or longer (motorized or not) must be registered. Believe it or not this includes Canoes Kayaks etc...

at my beach.. there is vertually no-one with a registered or titled cat...
actually i only know of 1 person who actually has a title for their cat...i have never had a title for any of my 3 cats..

If the non-motor powered vessel is less than 16 feet in length, it is not required to be registered or titled. However, if the vessel is 16 feet or more in length, it is required to be registered and titled.
