Nah - I've tried your club starts. We were still trying to figure out which lights we were supposed to be looking at and which boat was supposed to be the pin when everyone else started. So we just followed them... which is much like how we do it for most of the Datchet club starts
I'm not sure about the black flag either. I didn't see it, but then I wouldn't have noticed it either (I thought I was doing well to recognise our class flag) but from what I know of the people on the committee boat I would have expected them to point it out.
