Thanks guys for the continuing advice, I will buy new, quality bits for this job. Bill, I agree that there's a big price for non kick up rudders, definitely more fussing getting on and off the beach. Not to bad sailing on deep, generally weed free lakes, I'd be hesitant sailing in shallow waters. I've only got one season on this boat uder my belt, but I did get several big air days with big chop/swell, and I was amazed how resistant she was to sticking a bow. Could be the T foils, could be the tall, bouyant bows.
Anybody know the size of those s.s bolts for the gudgeons? Or a stateside source for Sea fit?
