Thanks Harry. What do do think about using a dremmel tool to cut the upper lip of the daggerboard well just below the deck then lift the deck out allowing unimpeded access to the inside of the hull. After repairs are done I then have to seal the top of the deck and centerboard well. More work you think?. Removing the "window" will require to seal the cut with tape first and then I am guessing 2 or 3 layers of cloth.
In the first option most work is inside (out of sight) in the second theres some fairing to be done....
