As for what consitutes a "cheap" Mac36: $4000
Hulls (interior stripped bare), standing rigging, mast, boom, x-beams, trampoline all in good shape. New rudders, but no dagger boards or sails. Comes with a trailer that is a bad fit but in good shape.

Gotta sell my truck and go across the country to get a good look at it (selling the truck anyhow)
Come to think of it, this sounds suspiciously like the boat you were looking at a while ago for $3000. The company that has it says they took it in trade.
