On the "need more footage" thing, is there a way to easily send raw footage to someone who could edit it all together? Like flash cards or something?
Yes flash card or cd/dvd
technically you could also transfer the files using a file sharing program as well..
the issue is raw video is typically huge files (easily 1 gig or more) and if you have 10 people send you this much info.. you may spend a few days loading and reviewing it before you even start to edit... also files this huge can require a pretty powerful workstation to edit...
that being said... 5 and 10 minute movies are doable without special soft/hardware (on a mac or windows)
