Ok, not wanting to hijack the other thread since it's mostly related to windward leeward racing. What do you guys think would be a fair scoring system for the GT 300 or the Tybee 500. Traditionally the GT gets really reachy and favors the F18's spinnaker reaching ability. The Tybee, maybe not as much.
The GT has been raced Portsmouth since the beginning and the last two years has gone to classes with the Overall Trophy being awarded on Portsmouth. I think every year but one, it has gone to an F18 with the one exception being a Hobie 20 with a Tornado chute (nearly the same Portsmouth number as F18).
What are your thoughts?
