I think a measurement system would have to be more accurate than portsmouth . Portsmouth is based on windward leeward, which most distance races are not and only updated with numbers given by races. Many OD and formula don't submit because they are not racing handicap. Does anyone know if the measurement systems use windward leeward as it's benchmark to compare the different measured boats?
