If you can't already tell, I'm completely new to sailing. I've always been interested in sailing but now I'm seriously thinking about it.

I'm particularly interested in a Catamaran. They SEEM (possibly showing my ignorance) fairly simple to operate, lightweight, fast ENOUGH, and affordable.

Any good advice on a nice sized Cat? I'd like to be able to carry 4 to 5 people MAX.

Any help will probably save my life.
