Not one comment about a monohull sailor not knowing what he's doing or something to that effect.
Very few people sailed on a winged cat, so their accident could certainly happen to most of us.
Besides, before the first Hobie 14, who knew that sailing backwards is potentially disastrous?
Unless the C-Class guys already experimented with powered up backwards sailing, those guys may have discovered a new practical limitation of winged cats: compared to normal ones, they might require more rear flotation for powerful backwards sailing - or a bell for the guy shouting "DIVE, DIVE, DIVE!"
