Just an FYI – the causeway cops have been pretty vocal lately about cats being left overnight for extended periods of time on the beach. As per city code, those with stickers may park 2 nights/week max. Yet there are some who leave their boats there for a week at a time, and others don’t have stickers at all.

The reality is, if this continues your boat will eventually be towed/impounded and the city will eliminate the program, thus making it impossible for any of us to keep a boat rigged for more than a day. They could also just as easily prohibit all boat launching from the causeway.

So please, get a sticker if you don’t have one and limit your overnights so we can all continue to enjoy one of the best places to cat sail in Florida.
