I'm just saying that it causes confusion when you ask questions of the desk clerk. Different desk people define the policies in different ways. I don't think anybody wants complications -- either sailors or the resort owners. I know I get totally confused every time I talk to a different person there.

don't think there is any problem for people who reserve rooms there. The only questions are about sailors who do NOT stay there. They will have charges for launching and trailer storage over the weekend. But those problems and costs are similar to what you would have at the Caribbean Club.

If you're NOT staying at Gilbert's and don't want to pay them for trailer storage for the weekend, we have room for some trailers in our yard.

Well any time someone tells me to do something but then follows it up with don't tell anybody what you're doing always makes me skeptical. It wouldn't be the first time we've been told it's okay to stage somewhere only to find out on arrival nobody onsite knows anything about it and wants us out, or to pay. So yeah, I might be a little "twice shy". There is nothing worse than making a time and financial committment to something only to find out that your destination/staging area is up in the air on arrival. I'm just sayin.

Ah Yup. I kind of got the same feeling Ding. Been there done that.
