It was cold, for Florida, and the wind was up pretty good.

Lots of young people, lots of new people that were not experienced enough for the conditions. One of the youth teams had never raced cats at all.

Some breakage and at least one injury. One of the crew got a dog bone in the eye with some lacerations. As far as I know it was not serious but all eye injuries are painful. The Taipan 4.9 lost a rudder. It was a last minute entry with THE CHUCK and BK reappearing from retirement.
