Stadium sailing appears to be a pretty cool concept except for 1 big problem: Sailing in that crazy wind has got to really suck. Seems to me there is far too much luck involved when its like that.
That's all part of the game, and the sailors know it. I don't think there's a better type of event to showcase our sport. Even the unpredictability helps to make it a better event.

have to agree, the 'concept' seems to be working well, the America's Cup audience certainly benefited from it
but when I google earth the Marina in Singapore, it's one tight little marina for such boats ......
not much room to swing a cat ....... pun intended
