True, but this is the first time I've ever worried about my fellow citizen reacting to the government in a way that would threaten my life.

Not because of believing the media nonsense myself, but because of what others (on both sides) are foolish enough to believe.

A few days before Christmas, I was getting into my truck after a late night of shopping, when two people walked out of the store, and started screaming "Who voted for Trump?" and "Because you're going to get SHOT!"
