I know I'll need the battens, but the mainsail prices are all over the place. If the 4.0oz Dacron would be competitive, I'd go that route and spend the $338 difference on the headsail.
I'm a bit curious why the tri-radial Pentex headsail costs less than the cross-cut Dacron 2.2oz version... while the Pentex mainsail is almost double the cost of the Dacron 4.0oz version.
